Dear author

Mattias Rendahl is a Art Director by profession and has designed several Star Wars collecting books (check out the ones from Gus and Duncan and buy them here: http://theswca.com/completists/). A New Proof was his first made and published all by himself. He has given talks and designed official merchandise for Star Wars events all over the world. When not working at his advertising agency in Sweden or writes books about Star Wars, he collects Star Wars prototypes (with an extra love and focus on packaging material) and Swedish Star Wars items. And some Lego with his son Elliot.

Dear Publications is his hobby project for designing and publishing books about Star Wars collectibles. Besides the Packaging design saga (2 of 4 books are out), he is currently working on a book about Star Wars in Sweden during 1977-1989.

Dear co-author

Ben Sheehan is the co-author for The Cromalin Strikes Back, he was one of the first collectors to dive into 2D pre-production collecting and is a true expert in the field. Long time collector and writer by profession.

Ben has met several of the people who created the packaging back in the day, e.g. Jeff Rice, Fran Durham, John Ham (and the late Ray Perszyk who Mattias interviewed for the first book, A New Proof) from Cato Johnson/LPK, along with the late, great Art Heffner from Kenner (lead Art Director).
